Search for Mum is an MSX game by Triple Soft and was published by the MSX Club België/Nederland in 1991 on a single density 3,25" diskette: http://www.generation-msx.nl/software... It looks like a simple platformer, but the time limit, inability to fall from high platforms without dying and controls that tend to lag/not get triggered, make it a rather challenging game. Oohhh the number of times I've plummeted to my death near the end of a level because the space button didn't trigger a jump, or ran out of time because I didn't choose the most optimal route... Luckily you won't see all those failures, as I played this game on the openMSX emulator, which has a reverse feature that allows me to rewind my mistakes. Yes, it's cheating, but I finally want to be able to finish this game from my childhood!
