CCTV footage showing a 19-year-old man being struck by a car has been released by police.
The video has been released as part of a renewed appeal for witnesses who may have seen the incident which happened at 7.30pm on November 5 last year.
(UK) Derbyshire Police collision investigators said the incident happened in Normanton Road, Derby, but are appealing for anyone from the wider area who may have information to come forward.
The 19-year-old was left with serious and life-changing injuries.
Officers said he spent a number of weeks in hospital, and he is in a wheelchair and cannot walk.
The footage shows the man crossing the road when a dark car, which police believe to be an Audi A3, approached him at speed. The car did not stop at the scene.
Police are appealing for anyone who man know someone who has a dark, possibly grey Audi A3, which had bumper, bonnet and windscreen damage around November 5.
